I was thrilled to expand my portfolio when L1 asked me to design a pattern for their women’s snowboard gear. They wanted a Japanese-inspired floral theme combined with snakes, so I brought my loose, inky style to the project. All the artwork was hand-drawn and then transformed into a seamless pattern. A memorable moment came in 2023 while snowboarding in Canada—I spotted a woman wearing the full kit right in front of me while waiting in line at a lift, which was a proud validation of my work.
